Nyssa von Dunkelstolzen
Born with a family tree longer than her full name, Nyssa Luise Adrienne Arissa von Dunkelstolzen grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. Filthy rich, doted on by her small but loving family, and as one of the most popular girls in her exclusive private school, she had a storybook childhood.
Then her mother got murdered, her inheritance was frozen, and Nyssa saw herself forced to flee her ancestral castle and move far, far away to Sulani. Now she even has to work for her livelihood. Oops.
There’s only one question left: Where exactly did this totally spoiled creature find her backbone made of steel?
Nyx of the Wild
A beach bum who’s comfortably squatting in a ship wreck on the otherwise uninhabited island Mua Pel’am.
She’s not from Sulani, and nobody knows exactly how long she’s been living here or where she’s from originally. But she doesn’t disturb anyone (well, mostly…) and is otherwise pretty useful when there’s need for a pair of strong hands, so the Islanders don’t ask any questions.
Sulani’s Islanders
Rangi Ngata
The proud owner of Rangi’s Sand Bar, also known as the informal heart of Ohan’ali Town. Usually found there behind the bar. He knows (almost) everything about his little Town and always has an open ear and good advice. Solving other people’s problems is a good distraction from his own.
Angelo Kaewe
A young Widower and single dad of a small daughter. Since fishing alone isn’t generating enough income to raise a child these days, he’s also using his boat to operate the local postal and transport service.
Fuifui Hoapili
A talented woodcutter and painter who just recently lost his grandfather, and with him, his last remaining family. Since art pays even worse than fishing, he assists wherever he can earn a little bit of extra money.
